hmm, how about this, try to search for which kind of species that were used by most of the fans, for ex, hedgehogs, echidnas, foxes, then don't use those species, and try to think of other more rare species but you still be able to make, like insects? dogs (lol like my fc rosa XD)? or maybe... mouse? etc .
