I love how you used vivid colours against a soft black/dark grey background to convey your message: OPTIMISM.

This reminds me of a story. I don't remember all the details, but here goes...
A grandfather once stuffed the Christmas stockings of his two grandsons. One he gave a gold watch, the other a lump of horse manure. The one who got the gold watch complained, "This watch looks so breakable; one wrong move and it'll be ruined." The one who got the manure exclaimed with glee, "Wow, does this mean I got a Pony for Christmas!?"
The moral of the story is the same as that of your text; it's not as much what happens to you that determines your happiness, but how you respond.

I'm little of a quote-collector and I like to find interesting quotes, save them and then share them, but I have actually never seen this one before. Though it really was love at first sight!
It's so true and deep, and still sweet and hopeful. And isn't rain one of the most fascinating things with nature? This one remainds me of one of my favourite lyrics by the rockband Queen: "I feel like dancing in the rain, can I have a volunteer?" It's from Seaside Rendezvous, a silly song with silly lyrics made to be just silly, but just this one phrase caught my attention. And I apologize for this quite random comment, but your piece really got me thinking and made me happy.
And I like your typograhy ^^ It's clean and easy to read, quite easygoing and happy. The colours and the typesetting really goes with the quote.
