I felt like doing a picture about friendship. But I also didn't want to add the umptieth work , involving two girls hugging each other. So, I thought: why not a dragon, since there are so many illustrations of dragon-riding amazons. But no one (I think) has ever asked: How do they get together? I mean, is there a dragon-riding academy, or something like that? But, since it is sort of common agreement, that dragons in general are very intelligent and wise, it seemed somewhat inappropriate to reduce them to simple animals for transport; my idea was to let human and dragon grow up together (yes - different life-span). So, here we are catching two little rascals, hiding from a rain-shower - and probably beyond bed-time...^^
