I go to the front door open it and it's Robert. I let him in any hands me a box. He told me my father gave it to him about a year ago and told him to give it to me the following winter here as soon as he saw me. I asked Robert if he had heard from my father before he died and he said no. I asked him if he knew what the box was or if my father said anything about it and he said no. All your father told me was next winter if you see my daughter here and I'm gone give her this box. Do not give it to her before. Robert give me a kiss on the cheek and left quickly saying he needed to get into town and get supplies before the storm came. He would see me on the trail in the next few days.
