Here's our favorite scientist, Kleiner! ^^

Race: Earthpony - Kleiner is a great scientist, and he's even become a very recognized scientist because of his work. Also, it's common for unicorns to be more of the "science" type, so I thought Kleiner would be perfect to break that standard by being an earthpony AND being very successful in his research.
Cutiemark: I'm not completely happy with this, I might change it up later. Anyways, his cutiemark is supposed to be a quill inside a kind of "teleport", and the quill is supposed to be dipping into a portal, but it kind of looks like green sludge, which is what I'm not happy about.
My thought process on this was to symbolize his research on teleportation and interdimensional travel.
