Too many of my male friends have been getting on my case about being a feminist. Things have been getting reeaallly frustrating lately, so I drew my frustrations out.I feel a bit better now.

I tried. Some understood, which was fantastic. Others.. they couldn't take me seriously because I brought up body issues.
Now they're confused as to why I'm not talking to them. :I

uh i have a question, like, when you get searched by the police for example in certain nightclubs, what do you tell them when they find your 3 knives? o.o

I don't go to night clubs very much any more. I'll still go occasionally, and when I do, I don't bring my knives. Only my pepper spray, my whistle, a thick chain necklace I can use to hurt an attacker, and lots of rings on my fingers so my punches will hurt extra hard.

I actually teared up a little when I read the part about your mom.
I had the same problem with my grandma, growing up. Even when I walked into the kitchen to get a glass of water, she'd yell at me and told me I was eating too much.

You know, in my english class, when I did the test much better, than all guys, one of them said "that's cause you're a girl. Only girls are good at languages, and we don't want to be like you". It was not a joke : | So I was like "Do you know how much of a nonsence are your words?"
But, on the other hand, I hate when sensitive\submissive\emotional guys are being oppressed. Not everyone is an elephant or something.

And yeah, I absolutely despise when people say "Be a man!" I still occasionally catch myself saying "Man up!" but that problem's mostly gone now.

Same, sometimes I'll catch myself slipping and saying, "Be a gentlemen!" when I have the equal obligation to be more ladylike. Working on it too though and it's also mostly gone!

I know how you feel, I have been in the similar situations, and the worst is that many people still hating feminism because "Da gurls r diferent 2 the menz!!1! " or "Feminism is man h8!1!!!" and all these shit.
This world needs feminism because the women still having lots of issues and discrimination in all the world.
