Description
This is Avilon, my Sonic OC. He is a complicated figure. He's what I call a Nano Wolf. The reason being: His entire outer coat and flesh is composed of trillions of nanites. If you are unfamiliar with what that is then let me tell you:
Nanites are extremely small smart robots that are capable of repairing themselves and even creating more of their kind. They are so incredibly tiny they are only visible through a microscope. Damn that's tiny!
They cover Avilon's body and make up his flesh and fur. He has organic body parts, but they are mostly internal. Examples would be his brain and heart. An obvious benefit of having this nanite flesh is his ability to rapidly heal himself from injury. They also cause him to age at a much slower rate. But this doesn't make him immortal. He can die, it just takes a lot of damage to put him down.
He is also capable of generating various weapons and tools from the blue portions on his hands. They are located on the back and undersides of each of his hands. While it is possible for him to have many different weapons and tools with this ability, he is currently limited to only pulse swords, shields, and propolsion blasts. He was created to be a combat weapon that could evolve with combat. So, basically, the more combat experience he gets, the more abilities he will develop. Its sort of like when you level up in a video game and learn new attacks.
His feet are also able to emit blasts from their underside powerful enough to lift him off the ground and propel him through the air, granting him flight. Sort of like with Iron Man or Astro Boy (who was a major influence in Avilon's creation). Though, with these awesome powers, they do drain him of energy. He doesn't have an unlimited pool of energy. He can use it up and feel physically drained or even pass out until he generates more energy to replace what he's lost.
With all of his technological components, he is still human ( or anthro, or whatever the hell I should call him lol). He has emotions and thoughts. He can suffer from emotional and mental trauma and can even be emotionally or mentally scarred. He feels sadness and happiness like anyone else. He can have bouts of depression and even fall in love with others.
If he had a native species, it would be closely related to northern wolves. He has a back story which I'll cover in full later. But for now, I'm just happy to have finally finished his appearance. He has gone through SO MANY changes over in the two years since I thought him up. And I'm just now feeling comfortable with how he looks! XD I don't know if I'm lazy or just too picky. Its probably both.
