...And thus, 2 defining thoughts were firmly infused into Japan that day:
1. Good grades are MUST!
2. Proper kanji is importaint to learn, even though it is useless. XD (I have a few Japanese friends, and they all have told me that everyone in Japan HATES kanji. Because of hirigana and katakana, they really could do without it kanji, but they all have to learn it anyway because it's tradition. Now I know why.
