Hi I drew these a month+ ago

These are character references as well as uniform references for Armada fellas. Officers on the left, enlisted on the right, basically enlisted guys wear coveralls (poopiesuits.. it's what we call em) and wear rank on a strip on the front pockets. They're chevrons because you expected me to be original?? Really?? officers wear a santa claus dress regardless of gender and wear those sleek boots that just look like little black lines. How cute. Rank is denoted by a stripe in the front of their uniform, o2 is one stripe, o3 is a V shape, o4 is 3 stripes 1 V and a 3rd thinner stripe from their left, etc. It's similar to infantry uniforms with some exceptions. I called it a joodsuit because if the officers are going to be standing watch in machinery spaces they'll wear coveralls, too (JOOD= Junior Officer of the Deck which applies to enlisted too but who cares not me). They just have to look nice because they're officers (^: the fingers on their "gloves" (idk what else to call that?? gauntlets?) are extensions of their actual fingers. that white triangle is a button they can press to access a small toolset or manual, whatever they choose.

Just like everywhere else in the Empire, the Armada discriminates based on height in an official capacity or otherwise. It's horrible for morale! Short officers have it rough and get assigned to the absolute worst watches with the absolute worst personnel. Meaning they get in trouble much more often, thus reinforcing the perception that shorter officers are worse at their jobs as leaders. And so and so.
