It's an artistic nude. Nudity and appreciation of the human form is a predominant theme in art for millennia. Some of the greatest works in history are of naked people, because it shows confidence and humanity (i.e. Michelangelo's David, Goya's La maja desnuda to name but two of the many millions of works). There is not much nudity going on here, and none of it is explicit- it's a tiny buttcrack. Take a look at Egon Schiele's female nude paintings- those are spread-eagle and they are hailed at high works of art.
It's not disgusting, and don't call people morons based on your perception of "gross" is. Art History is a helluva class.

As it has been pointed out, butts have also been made fun of for millennia. You can tell yourself a buttcrack is majestic and elegant all you want, it's really asinine (so to speak). And it's perverted on top of that. Not everyone who innocently comes to this site is desensitized. There is a reason a little kid's first reaction is to laugh at a butt. If you're in a serious setting with dedicated scholars studying Art History, then no, nobody will be laughing when a tushie appears on the slideshow. No mature person I have ever known has ever laughed at a butt. It is the gluteus maximus muscle that is covered in veins, nerves skin, and excess fat that just so happens to be part of the excretory system, but can also incite a sexual response due to its curvaceous form. Ha ha ha. You have buttocks, I have buttocks, he, she, we have buttocks. They are about as laughable as an arm or a leg. I could count it a gross if the model were showing her anus; but she is not. It is not meant to be gross. It is beautiful and a funny concept.
And MakingFunOfStuff, homosexuality (as you are probably referring) is not perverted. But I digress. Michelangelo was not the only artist to ever make nude images, you know. Bernini, Picasso, and many good christian artists also made nude images- not for overtly sexual reasons, but to admire the Greco-Roman style.
If you know anything about psychology, there are a few initial reactions to certain stimuli- a baby cries when a loud noise is made, or when he/she is pinched. These are natural reactions. However, no baby laughs when presented a butt. It is the silly noise (farts) that might startle them and make them laugh in childhood. The fleshy bottom is associated with the silly noise, and voila, the kid laughs at butts. But when the grow up and learn true humor, they find their fart/butt jokes obnoxious.
But regardless, I love the picture, and artist I commend you.

As artists we see and use nude models as references a lot, but most people don't see so much skin on a person,
so when they see a little bit of a 'crack' as they put it,
then it's uncomfortable and gross to them.
They won't really understand until they've sat in a class and actually tried to draw the human form.
