There is even a scientific answer to that: for most animals, who walk on four legs (including apes), the butt is the place to look at. Since humans started to walk on two legs and have most interactions facing each other, evolution made female breasts to the attractive equivalent of a butt. So thank evolution for giving women two sides to look at. Β

Well yes they are, but ever looked at the difference in breasts between humans and other mammals? Take for example, pigs - yes they too have breast to feed their children, but they would hardly be noticeable without the nipples. Human breast however would not need to be that, well, busty, to be functional. I am not a girl, but I also think bigger breasts can be a bit of a problem concerning movement (sports in general) without something to hold them - and especially for our ancestors good maneuverability meant the difference between life and death. So, to conlude, there needs to be another reason for female breast to grow the shapes they do.

Yes, but they can do that no matter the size. I think the evolution she's speaking of is them getting bigger to better attract mates. That's my best guess.
