The Capybara (Hydrochoerus hydrochaeris) is a semi-aquatic rodent from South America. With a length of up to one and a half meter the Capybara is the largest living rodent on earth. Despite it's massive size, one of its closest relatives is the guinea pig. They can be found in swamps, marshes, flooded savannahs and alongside rivers in the rainforest. Due to this lifestyle, they are commonly preyed upon by jaguars, caimans and anacondas. Drawing suggested by Eva (#1221) in the Zoo Manager discord.
