Description

Why is the art coming so slowly?
Well, it boils down to this: I have three hours of free time each evening. In those, I can choose between taking a break, drawing, and playing Genshin Impact. And after 8 hours of work, two of those things are significantly easier than the other. But I will not stop! (Hopefully.) It's just gonna go slower.

Story:
Emilia had always been supporting Tareks life choices. But there was a big difference between support and actively participating.
But now they had booked a two weeks vacation in South Africa, one that included riding.
So in preparation, Emilia finally took that leap of faith and booked her first riding lesson.
Not with Tarek though.
A third person would probably be better at helping, finding mistakes, and also voicing them.
So Julia took the challenge and introduced Emilia to Samhain.
The young woman had often enough seen Tarek tack up a horse and had even helped him with it.
Getting up on the horse was a different thing though.
"From the left. Don't worry, if you manage to fall off of Sammy you'll be awarded a medal. It takes some true dedication and skill for that."
"You'll stay there though right? Just in case I do fall off. Or he decides to take me for a run."
Julia petted Samhain's neck and gave Emilia her best student-reassuring smile. "Of course I'll stay here. We are just gonna be on the lead rope today. I want you to get used to the feeling and teach you some basics and the according vocabulary, yeah?"
"Sounds good, thanks."

A few weeks later Emilia had another lesson this time with Nat.
"So we're gonna walk a few rounds together just to warm up and then we'll try to let you behind the steering wheel so to say."
"Oh, ok ... "
"Don't worry Peppino is a very good boy. He'll keep you safe and sound."
Peppy kept quiet and with some urging from Nat started to walk along the fence of the riding arena.
Emilia seemed not convinced about her ability to maneuver the giant furry creature beneath her.
But at the end of the day, she was able to ride around a little slalom Nat had built for them.
"What did I tell you? You are basically ready to get your own horse!"
Emilia laughed as she patted Peppy and gave him a treat handed to her by her teacher.
"I wouldn't go that far, just yet."
