"And be careful. Due to the snow, it can be slippery out there." That is what his sister had told him. But well. When Rio got going there was no holding him. Not that Rafael particularly wanted to hold him back. And Angel was a worrywart as always. The ground was in good shape and the little snowflakes were soft and didn't sting even when they sped over the jumps. When Rafael passed the corner where his friends stood to cheer him on, he could hear that Tarek was excitedly demanding he go faster, while the girls had gone slightly paler than usual.

"And that's exactly why I told you never to drive with him. He drives like a maniac!"
"I'm not that bad, Angel. And besides, Rio wanted to go faster today."
"You told me the exact same thing about your car last time you took the turn in too sharp too."
"Well, at least this time the excuse makes sense."
