I'm hitting the crossovers again! 'Cause that never gets old.Lately, MLP hasn't really been holding my interest. With a few exceptions, this most current season felt very lackluster and uninspired at times.
However, the season finale was pretty cool. I love more world-building, especially since we finally get to have Starswirl appear as more than a cameo.
I also appreciate that the Pony of Shadows was more than a ghost story with a cliffhanger cameo. I liked his overall design, but me having the habit of comparing things, I thought he reminded me a lot of Venom. Those tendrils and his gooey shadow powers didn't help that comparison.
I haven't drawn ponies in a while, but this was pretty fun.
Speaking of which, keep an eye out on my other social medias for another mlp crossover project. Hint: it's also Marvel and something I haven't done in a while.

If you read the description, you'd know that this is a crossover. I made the Pony of Shadows look more like Venom because I thought the two looked and were characterized very similar. Venom has a consistency like slime, so that's what I did.Β
Plus, there's a scene where he shoots out tendrils to bind ponies, so it's not a stretch.
