Description

When a Rassa breaks free from Myhir they are a naked soul and do not yet have a material body. Yet they have an experience of simulated material reality, much like a dream, which spawns from pure thought. The Rassa's soul is layered, with the eye and the flame wrapped around each other inseparably in the core, followed by the name, the will, the form and the aura. The shape and appearance is channelled from the qualities of the name into the form, yet with use of the will this appearance can be changed for short periods of time. The will more easily shapes the aura, which forms the dream reality around the Rassa, creating its personal realm.

As a Rassa becomes distanced from Myhir, it's name will become opaque, obscuring the flame and eye from the outer experience. This causes the Rassa's soul to become heavy and fall through the layers of existence. If they fall to the lowest layer the images in their aura will begin to solidify, forming true matter. Their dream reality will become an immutable existence. Their soul collects molecular matter like an electric charge collects dust. This accumulates on the form. The form creates scar tissue to protect itself from the caustic nature of matter. This scarring is known as the ligament and attaches the soul to the material body. With matter weighing their existence down, the the eye blinded by an opaque name, the Rassa forgets their origin as a cosmic being among Myhir and is cursed to an existence as a living being.
