When Byleth vanished, the whole class was stunned. They wasted no time in searching for any sign of their teacher. Only one of the students was looking elsewhere. She was Leonie, her eyes staying right on the woman who had so cruelly killed her mentor. She, and she alone saw that when the woman called Kronya vanished, she didn't disappear completely. Instead, she shrunk down, so little of the assassin left in this world.
Likewise, all eyes were on Byleth when they collapsed, the class hurrying with them out of the forest. Leonie lingered for a few moments, instead searching the ground where Kronya once stood. With her keen eyes, she spotted the tiny woman, fleeing through the grass. It was easy for Leonie to catch up and grab the doll-sized assassin.
"Let go of me, you worm!" the tiny Kronya squeaked, "Keep those filthy hands of yours off of me!"
"You said your name was Kronya?" Leonie asked, "what a joke. To think, you were the one who killed Jeralt. You're pathetic."
"What did you say?" she struggled, trying to break free as Leonie lifted her into the air. Her little limbs flailing, she was helpless.
"Now it's time for some payback," Leonie said, thinking of all the ways she could have her revenge...
