The theme of this round was "Sweets'', with everyone being assigned a certain type of sweet, candy or dessert like ice cream or cupcake

I have got the one called ''rock candy''.

Rock candy (also called rock sugar) is a type of confection composed of relatively large sugar crystals. This candy is formed by allowing a supersaturated solution of sugar and water to crystallise onto a surface suitable for crystal nucleation, such as a string, stick, or plain granulated sugar.

Candied sugar has its origins in Iran. Writers in the first half of the 9th century described the production of candy sugar, where crystals were grown as a result of cooling supersaturated sugar solutions. In order to accelerate crystallisation, confectioners immersed small twigs in the solution for the crystals to grow on. The sugar solution was coloured with cochineal (red) and indigo (blue) and scented with ambergris or flower essence.

The name comes from the medieval era, and in turn lends its name to a British candy called rock.

As soon I learned about the theme, I decided to make, once in a blue moon, a decent couture outfit since the prompt was rather abstract
So I dresses Dawn up in a tight mermaid dress with its bodice resembling the crystal texture, and put her onto a podium, because she is a model after all. In her hand she holds the rock candies from the prompt picture.
The light scarf appeared as a reminiscence of India where a similar type of candied sugar comes from.
Also it made me think of Barbie, hence the lots of pink and sparkles.
