Description
(part of a worldbuilding project ducktus is a closed species, please do not make OC's of ducktus)genetic material sampled from:
- Anas platyrhynchos
- Carnegiea gigantea
- Dionaea muscipula
- Opuntia abjecta
- varanus priscus
- Opuntia abjecta
- Branta canadensis
things to note about subject's biology:
- lack of digestive tract, "stomach" used to store soil and fungi for food
- legs covered in root filaments therefore drinks via standing/sitting in water
- "beak" derived from altered petals
- spines contain irritants touching is not advised
- no sex organs, sex cannot be assigned for any specimen in this species and will be marked "N/A"
- unable to fly
- unable to swim
- ability to photosynthesize
- subject's DNA does not show signs of accelerated degradation like previous attempts will continue to monitor
