Wow, that's rather good. Just out of curiosity, was the background rendered from 3ds max textured or did you paint over it in photoshop and if so which parts were painted? How long did the background take all up? Lots of questions, i know

In 3D, I made a few different options for rendering, and several rendered render passes.
One of textures and lighting, another toon materials and contours. Confound those renders image in Photoshop, a lot of color correction and mixing layers, so also was the layer where I drew some details on graph. tablet, with layers of grass, bushes, flashing. A total of about 35 layers. To create work spent two days on 5-6 hours a day.
