He wouldn't have been able to, considering Taiyang wouldn't let him say anything, plus he'd probably think it's for the best if she doesn't know yet or it would ruin her relationship with Taiyang, but it's pretty obvious Qrow is her dad, if you think about it.

Personally, I think it's the other way around. Qrow believes he'd be a really shitty father and thinks that Tai is far more qualified to be Ruby's father. Which is why Tai is so annoyed at Qrow. He's been a part of Ruby's life for years and yet he still won't tell her the truth.Β

I agree. It would explain Qrow's drinking problem in my opinion. I mean really. Ruby has more of a connection with Qrow to begin with. Sure you can argue that he's her uncle and wants to be close, but that would mean he'd do the same with Yang, but it's evident that Qrow favours Ruby. It would also explain why it seems like Tai and Qrow seem to have a shaky relationship as it is. Plus, Qrow trained Ruby and helped her build her scythe, which is a weapon that he uses as well. In that sense, he would want to be closer to Ruby. Another piece of evidence that can support the Qrow - father - theory is that in the latest volume, he's following Ruby. Again you can argue that he's just there to get information, but he still goes out of his way to be close to her. Qrow is also the one who explains to Ruby about the "Silver-Eyed Warriors," and Tai seemed to get annoyed that Qrow wanted to be alone with Ruby when he tells her. Qrow being Ruby's father may or may not be cannon, but it's one of those theories... that just feel... right in my opinion.Β

Either way, Tai has to pull that stick out of his ass and accept that Qrow wants to make up for whatever he screwed up in the past; and considering he didn't say anything when Tai bedded his sister and his crush, you'd think Tai would cut him some slack this one time, amiright?

Ok I'll admit, I don't buy for a second that Taiyang is Ruby's dad.Β But I don't think it's Qrow either.Β I think it might be someone else.Β Someone we haven't met yet.Β And that someone might be someone extremely dangerous to make Tai not want to tell Ruby about him.

well, Volume 3 is kicking it into overdrive, so you may have less time than you think to weigh the possibilities, though i have to wonder, is it something you want to happen or a logical scenario you're foreseeing?

The logic in my foreseeing is this:Β With how bad things have gotten,Β with how well the bad guys have been doing, it's right about here where the 'Counter-attack' scenario kicks in.Β Where it really starts to blow upΒ in their faces and things start going in the good guy's favor a bit more.Β Either by something the bad guy's didn't expect to happen, like a third party taking the stage, or something NO-ONE saw coming happening.
