Although...some of my friends call my love for anime an "unhealthy obsession" and that I need therapy. But that's mostly cause of my obsession with YAOI, not anime in general.

People at my school are incredibly rude.
There's this one girl who REALLY likes anime, and she's know by everyone as 'the freak of the school'. I love anime but I have to keep it between me and my 2 other anime-lover friends. (If the people at my school ever found out, it'd ruin my entire High School career.)
I wish people at my school were that understanding.

Yeah, I think there's two main "fanbases" that go my school in the motherloads: The ANIME fans, and the TWILIGHT fans. I swear, there's so many girls at my school with Twilight bags/shirts, I feel like killing myself Dx

If you don't mind me asking, where do you go to school? I live about 30 minutes away from Los Angeles, so maybe that's why the people around here are more accepting of anime (cause LA is full of anime stores and hosts the Anime Expo lol) :3

I go to school in the Northern part of North Carolina (almost on the virginian border).
I think that's one of the key reasons too. And people in my town are either ghetto to the core or racist to the core. It's all quite ironic...
