Actually I had the idea thta as he attack or even just moves, he sprouts new limbs. So say he walks from poitn A to B insetad of just using those two legs, he sprouts different arms/legs which grab onto any surface in reach, and he pulls himself forward.

Wow, that is a sweet ass design. I really like the very thin ribbons of tendon that seem to be holding it all together so tightly. I imagine that when he attacks he just sort of unwinds.
