Description So I recently got done watching the final season of the Clone Wars, and apart from thoroughly enjoying it, I found myself wondering what exactly R2-D2 got up to when he was frequently left alone out in the wild (particularly the scene where Yoda left his saber with the droid and then basically abandoned him for the rest of the ep.). I like to think that Artoo would do what any of us would when left unsupervised with a lightsaber, and so here he is, playing Jedi.

Β In my original sketch he was hacking apart a few butterflies but in the end I didn't think R2 would be that much of a dick, so I settled for the rock carving graffiti.

But could R2 use a lightsaber?

Ha ha! Artoo was here!

I remember trying to learn the symbols from when I was in HS, so I just looked at this and worked it in my mind to try and figure out what it meant, looking at which ones looked the most familiar and which ones matched (which ones were used more than once).

Thanks

Yeah, in high school, I had too much free time. Never having a girlfriend has its benefits, lol

say how many seasons are there of the clone wars? i have only seen up to season 5. is there more? and, if so, is there a real end of the gap that is left in season 5?

There was a sixth 13 episode season made up of what was finished when the show got canned. It was branded as the 'Lost Missions' and aired on netflix earlier this year. The episodes include an arc centered around Order 66 (with an awesome opening episode) and one about the Syfo-Dias mystery, which I feel serves as a pretty good finale to the show. There's nothing more on Ahsoka (save for a small cameo) or any of the major loose ends, although the continuation of Maul's story has been adapted into a Comic titled 'Son of Dathomir' and a novel has just been announced which will continue Ventress' story.

i will be looking for ventress' story intensely, and i will check netflix asap! do you think i need to order the disks, or will it be available for stream? i only have the stream ability...

Considering the events of Revenge of the Sith I wouldn't really call it a positive ending (more bitter sweet than anything) but it certainly feels much more like an end to the series than the end of season 5 did, which I find satisfying.

It currently only exists digitally, but can be found on several platforms, itunes etc.

Can't really blame him. R9-C4 would probably do the same thing too (that or find something to kill, and considering it's on the planet where life originates from...).

It sounds as though it would be highly irresponsible to leave such a droid unsupervised ever.

Figuring it out is half the fun. It's written in aurebesh ( starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Aurebe… ), so you can either translate it for yourself or take the lazy option and just look at the other comments here as it's already been translated
