After Bakrakra's outburst took down Krud City's central structure, some of the Kruds are stuck in Flowered City while the others rebuild their home. Kaboche got into an argument with Krabouic and refused to go back home with him, while Nokturno was forced to stay in Joyceland because it was nearly the end of May at the time, so she could fall into torpor at any moment (she is a mayfly, after all); it would've been unsafe for her to hibernate in Krud City while it was under construction. So Aelia takes the opportunity to show the two around Joyceland in a tour, though it's tougher than she thought since neither of them can fly. Though, I suppose if Nokturno's wings aren't atrophied by this point, she might be able to learn?

Kaboche is actually pretty enthralled with Joyceland as a whole and is eager to learn more about it, though Nokturno is wary. It's good for her to finally be out of the stump, but everything's unfamiliar and overwhelming to her now that it's being shown to her all at once. She hates to show weakness especially around Verigreens, but she's actually pretty terrified.
