Description Based on the designs of Chris Schell for the AVF-35 Warthog.
The need for a ground support vehicle for the UNMarine Corps was needed and it had to be able to linger on the battelfield and suport ground forces, carry enough armament to be an effect anti-armor vehicle and be armored and resilant enough to resit enemy fire, but be fast enough to get to trouble areas in a hurry. Although the Veritech fighter was able to fill this role given its ability to transform into its Gerwalk mode (a hybrid vehicle half between a jet fighter and a battleoid), the UNMarines wanted a vehicle that they could call their own and not have to rely on UNSpacy to provide their ground forces with air support. Bell Helicopter Textron Inc., manufacturer of the VH-1 Huey helicopter turned to General Avinocis and got their premission to create a variant of teh Warthog to serve as the plaform of the new AVF-35H Mongoose. The AVF-35H takes a two seater Warthog that is equipped with the LEO augmentation pack and highly modifies the booster unit to be the location of the vehicles rotory equipment. A boom section was added to add a horizontal stabilizer for additional control while in operating in the atmosphere of a planet. The rotary equipement included a four bladed prop that the blades could be weilded as battleswords when the vehicle is in Soldier configuration. The AVF-35H retains all of the Worthog's weapon systems but adds a chin mounted duoble barreled 40mm grenade launcher.
