thanks, hehe! No, not angry-those are, unfortunately sun glare and painting frowns that first started showing up as a teenager and now are permanent part of me! hehe I had a baby face when younger and when I was teaching strangers would come in the room and ask for the teacherbecause I didn't look any older than my students. I thought I would have it made when I was older, didn't count on those ole wrinkles!
thanks for the comments

your color and texture is just... hmm there we go. i especially like how you get transluscence without muddying the colors. no clue how you do it, but it's fantastic.

thanks. You just decide which is your background piece and which is the top (the one showing through) and you layer some of the colors lightly over the background letting it be darker and more opague in some places and thin out in others. Prismacolors are a rich pencil that can be layered one layer over another many times before it starts to refuse to go down, and colored pencils go down in a transluscent effect so that previous layers can show through and effect the color of the final piece.

Thanks, I drew parts on tracing paper, cut them out and moved them around. Then I taped them together and transfered it

Wow. This is amazing. I love how everything is entwined, fading into each other, merging, blending. I love the feel of the picture, the gentleness, and the colouring. The subjects are skillfully drawn and coloured. And I really like the leaf that's falling, it's so pretty.
It's very hard to put it into words properly, but this picture is brilliant. Great job, as always.

Oh my... there are so many things I would like to comment on, but wont due to space considerations. Heh heh...
Let me limit myself and say merely a FEW things instead of an entire page of them. First and foremost, I love the luminosity of your colours, and the way the transparents have depth and presence. The leaves are absolutely awe-inspiring, the bark on the tree so concrete one almost feels they can reach out and touch it.
The importance of each element is wonderfully conveyed, and this piece feels as though you have given us a gift of your self, so to speak. You do an amazing(ly) wonderful job with faces, and your blending is impeccable and astounding.
The only flaw (and really, it gives it character) I could find were I to point anything out would be the unicorn's nostril and the ear closest you. With that evocative, perfect eye the elongated nostril is an odd note. (Sometimes what I am trying to convey makes no sense to ME, so I want to point out that I am not being critical. In a bad way. Erm... you know?)
This is such a moving, rich picture and I am so very glad that you posted it. Now pardon me while I enjoy your lovely butterflies.
