Description I'm actually going to draw all the Major Arcana tarot cards except it's my OCs. I started this project twice before but ran out of steam. Not this time! I'M DOING IT THIS TIME I SWEAR!

JUSTICE Tarot Card:
UPRIGHT Meanings: Cause and effect, clarity, truth
REVERSED Meanings: Dishonesty, unaccountability, unfairness

Perhaps the most obvious pick for a tarot card yet, but that's just because it fits so well for Mari. Aoxip is a highly hierarchical society along the lines of both class and gender. Mari, a poor street urchin, dreams big of societal upheaval and revolution. He often directly challenges the rules that hold up his nation. He sees the injustice around his as plain and obvious and is often confused when others do not think the same. To his anger, the greatest powers of injustice in his nation are tied to the state-religion, making it that much more unaccountable to average people. His fight for change is the central push of his and Aoxip's story.

Fun symbolism things:

1) Mari holds the two symbols of the god Yaroob. Yaroob is a god in the state religion: the Faith of Four Sisters. However, an offshoot religious movement centered on Yaroob specifically has developed. Mari is suspicious of replacing one state religion with another, however, he can not deny the appeal of a faith that directly challenges the propaganda promoted by the Faith of Four Sisters. The symbols are a black knife and a blue braid. Yaroob cutting the braid (representative of the goddess Seliik) is him "freeing" the people.

2) The two columns normally seen in this card I replaced with 2 mirrored trees, linked by a bridge. Both of these are also symbols associated with Yaroob, and they are linked to the ideal of equality.
