By far my favourite. I love how it really embraces the lines, and uses them in the composition rather than using them as an outline for some complicated scene.

I think you just did fine with the rules, coz the contest say:
"You may rotate the set of lines"

But it also says:
"You may not move or alter these lines in relation to each other."
