This first started out as a fun sketch to test out a new tablet which just arrived, and quickly turned into a rage painting. I've been under a little stress lately with family pushing for me to go to college for anything other than artwork, even though it is what I'd like to pursue and freelance as, and maybe someday even be able to work as a concept artist.My artwork so far has all been self-taught, save for two or three art classes later in life. I wish to take more art classes in order to improve to the point that I could support myself financially in art. My current plan was to take the summer off from school to work on a portfolio, but that is looking grim at this point.
I refuse to give up since I've decided this is the one job that truly would make me happy, but at the moment it is a cause of stress. At the least, working on these daily sketches seems to be giving some sort of goal to work towards and I plan on keep moving strong.
