This photo was taken by Chris Dzombak after the May 14 performance of A Very Potter Sequel. The guy I'm hugging is Nick Lang, one of the writers/directors/actors/puppet designers from the show.I keep telling people that AVPS changed my life, and they think I'm being melodramatic, but I am entirely serious. There was a time in my life when I was suicidal, and a major part of that stemmed from the feeling that I was invisible. I felt like no one could see me or hear me, and to see if this was really the case I would stop speaking and see how long it took for someone to notice (I once got to six days and gave up the experiment). The way the cast treated me was the exact opposite of that. It was a great example of how far I've come mentally and emotionally, and I think that's part of why I walked away from that theater with so much joy and self-confidence.

My first reaction to seeing this picture was, "OH MY GOD, LOOK HOW HAPPY I AM." It made me think of that picture.
And yes, the show is just that good. The cast just happens to be even better.

There isn't a set date yet. They're showing a video of it at Infinitus on July 17, and after that they're putting it up on YouTube.

I've had to work very, very hard to keep my inner fangirl contained. She is a thing of terror when she's unleashed and I didn't want to freak anyone out.
I told him that he was my favorite, and I mentioned that I felt bad for picking favorites because everybody in the cast was so wonderful. His reaction was, "Yeah, they're great, but they really can't compete." 
I wasn't sure if we were allowed to hug them or not, and I'm not really a hugging person to begin with, so at first I was just getting autographs. But then some of them hugged me and I just went with it.

Aha, no, I meant everyone that got tickets. Not the cast/crew, heh. But ahhh, I see that they like to give out hugs and sign posters and probably shirts. XDD

We were talking about book Voldemort, yes. He's my favorite character across the board, but it would be a little odd for Joe to talk about how he's the best character in the musical.

And I think that it's so wonderful that you feel happier now than you did earlier! It's so brave of you to be open about this, and I think it's great that you are starting to believe in yourself.

That's okay.
Thankfully the worst of the depression was in middle school... I'm about to start my senior year of college, so it has been a long time since I felt that bad. But the change was so subtle that it's hard to identify an exact time when it went away, and this was the first time I was able to compare events in my head and see that I really am so much better now. It was a very emotional realization is all, and I'm glad somebody caught it on camera.
