This is a detail of a painting I did a few years ago in acrylics. I recently scanned a photo of the painting, retouched it using a wacom drawing tablet and then adjusted lighting and color in photoshop.Related content

This is so wonderful, Rick. I love the scene of woody tree trunks on a rocky landscape, that one sweet red wildflower sitting like a jewel among the dark green grasses and gray stones, which when examined are composed of many colors. The light just tiptoes through this deepness, this lovely place of dreams, and then sweeps out to glow against the one outside.
There are some wonderful tree trunks and branches and fields of color beyond the seclusion. This is truly magnificent.
