This was done a while ago, when the protoss dark templar page was just opened in blizzard.Man! Samwise rocks at doing these things!!!
Anyway,this is my version...hope you like it

this piece is SOO great
but since I feel like I'm just giving you boring comments, I'll find something to criticise
these aren't really about how you draw , but first:
How does he get that huge scythe through the cape and is able to hold it that way?
and his right shoulderpad, is he even capable of moving his arm upwards at all with that on
it seems to be restricting is movement a lot there,

For give my critisism but it look to human like...
Dark templar have either 2 or three REALLY LONG fingers,
And the chest is as if it's human not Advanced Alien Assassin.

I really like this image. The contrast is proper for a Dark Templar, and nice besides. The scythes work as good framing devices as well as focal points. The fabric is also quite nice.
