So many people get complaints about watching, talking about, or reviewing shows aimed towards toddlers, preschoolers, or small children in general because they're not the audience they're made for.

Seriously! Where have you all been? Lots of people do this! A lot of people like those rants made by DaWillStanator, back when he was called Miss Oliver and Blossom. And what about those rants by The Unlucky Tug?

What about those moments when Regulas314, a fellow Deviantart user, one who's done reviews in the same style as TheMysteriousMrEnter, did Animated Atrocities on The Magic Roundabout movie and an episode of Caillou? Yeah! Caillou! A good example of toddler show!

Don't forget those times when Caddicarus, a YouTuber who is like a British AngryVideoGameNerd due to his time reviewing video games, reviewed a PlayStation1 game of Tweenies, and a Nintendo DS game, several episodes, and even a magazine, of Peppa Pig? Yeah! Peppa Pig! A show that perfectly defines toddler show!

Come on! Give us a break, y'all!

Okay, while yeah, there are children's shows like Barney the Dinosaur, Teletubbies, and Boohbah, that don't seem to have that much substance to them, and for that reason, don't seem to have that many fans who are older than the audience they're made for. (Believe me, I've been revisiting Barney and Teletubbies, and all I can say is..... I didn't like them as much as I remember.)

However, there are children's shows like Bananas in Pyjamas, Sesame Street, Pingu, Sooty, Bob the Builder, Fireman Sam, Postman Pat, Babar, TUGS, and most especially, Thomas the Tank Engine. Shows like these are shows that I like to call Family shows, shows that small children can watch with their parents or guardians. While yes, they are aimed towards younger children than shows like Transformers, Power Rangers, Pokémon, or Kids Next Door, at least they have solid effort put into them. The first half of this video sums it up, and it inspired this stamp:  www.youtube.com/watch?v=la5EGM…

I've always had passion for these shows, I shall defend them.

As someone who is planning on starting his own animation reviews show on YouTube, I appreciate this - being for kids should not give it a free pass, or mean that it shouldn't be reviewed.  And yeah, it's more than okay to watch them as well, I'm sure most people do - there's something very nostalgic about watching kids shows you like in my opinion (and I am including modern ones in this, be it nostalgia for the show itself, the fact it has the quality of shows you grew up with, or both.)

Also, I am aware that not all animation if for kids, a lot of it is, so I am going to be reviewing more kid's things than anything.

I almost forgot. James A Williams, the guy that usually rants on reboots of preschool shows has a page on Atrocious YouTubers at Miraheze. The reason he was added was because he was referred to as a "manchild" and a "Mr. Enter ripoff". It is also stated that he cannot take any form of criticism and it also states that the only users that like his videos are his fanboys.
Here's where I got the evidence:  atrociousyoutubers.miraheze.or…
Have a look for yourself and give me your honest thoughts.

I would call him a Mister Enter homage.

One person dislikes one thing about his Bob the Builder rant; James said he wanted the CGi Fireman Sam episodes cancelled.

I also know that the evidence I got is from a wiki. Anyone can edit these things and some YouTubers that don't deserve articles have been on their. What's the moral? Don't jump to conclusions! I'm saying this because the evidence may not be true.

Just because a certain TV series is aimed at a younger audience, doesn't mean older audiences can't watch it or talk about it.

You make an excellent point.  We as a civilization are overly concerned about pseudo-crimes and not concerned enough about real crimes.

It's sad really, because our favourite shows are aimed at kids, and just because of it's for kids does not mean it's immune to criticism. I have to agree.

Especially considering those reviews from Caddicarus and The Unlucky Tug.
