Description
This is a follow up to this stamp: www.deviantart.com/arthurengin…So many people keep using this word to describe something that's aimed toward small children.
Now let me ask you something:
Would a baby be able to watch something like Thomas the Tank Engine, Fireman Sam, Postman Pat, Sesame Street, Bob the Builder, Bananas in Pyjamas, or even Noddy? Yes, I said it. You have to be at least 18 months to be able to watch TV.
I prefer to use the term "Preschool show" to describe these shows, or if they have something for adults to relate to as well as little kids, I would describe them as "family shows". But if they have little to nothing for adults to relate to as well as little kids, I just call them "toddler shows".
And also, the biggest problem with the term "Baby show", some people might think you're talking about a show about babies, like Rugrats, Mega Babies, or Boss Baby, or even a documentary about babies being born.
So yeah, the term "baby show" has no meaning anymore.

yeah Timothy goes to school is a show like that but you can get lessons from it such as how to make friends and that school is not as scary as it seems.

do you think people should stop calling others childish if they like something meant for preschoolers?

Yeah, do babies even care to watch TV? I mean, if you're going to use the term "baby show", some may think you're referring to a show that's literally about babies (e.g. Rugrats).
But if you're going to use the term "preschool show" to describe educational shows aimed primarily at a young audience, fine. But saying that a show is for babies... I dunno, I can't help but think that...

The Term Seems Ridiculous, As a Former GoAnimate Person, However, I agree with you, also.

Well, believe me, I've been revisiting Teletubbies, and there's one thing I can say.... I didn't like it as much as I remember.

I think I know another overused term. "Girly/Girlish". That word is the definition of sexism. "Boyly/Boyish" doesn't even sound like a word.

Yeah, you're right! Another overused term, especially considering the latest rendition of My Little Pony and of course The Powerpuff Girls.

You could say LEGO is for babies...if they were actually DUPLO.
The traditional LEGO is still fine and dandy for anyone who
likes to play with them. Look at me for example.

I will say, though, DUPLO certainly went a long way since my toddler years.
It's almost as flexible and crafty as its big brother counterpart.
