Here I showcase the AI's biggest weakness: it has no capacity for innovation. It is only capable of reproducing things it has seen in great quantities. The visual idea here was to have crystals growing of a person, but since the ai has seen few if any images like that, it has no idea what I asked it for. I tried to trick the ai into getting what I wanted, but the results clearly show I would be better served by hiring an artist or learning more than basic photoshop skills.
On the left is the base image the ai generated, the middle is my photoshop edit, adding in the crystals in the spaces I wanted them and on the right is the image the ai produced when I used the middle image as the dominating image. While the crystals do look like they're part of the image, they don't look like they are growing out of her.

The concept: a vague story idea I had about a post-apocalyptic-ish world where spores infect living organisms, then grow into crystalline tumors. They grant their hosts great power, but eventually either kill the host or drive them insane (in a hyper-aggressive berserker way). The young woman presented here (I haven't thought of a name), runs a hospice for the infected; this place lies outside the more civilized city in a more slum-like area. She provides shelter and care for the infected helping them to either survive or kill them before the infection takes them. She has good survival skills and basic first-aid skills and is near the end of her infection period, she could die or go insane at any time, but she keeps going because there are people who need her.
