As the chieftain of my tribe, I have always carried the weight of my people on my shoulders. It is my responsibility to ensure their safety and well-being. But now, as the shadows grow longer and the darkness creeps closer, I am forced to make difficult decisions.

The whispers in the wind speak of a great evil, something ancient and malevolent that has been awakened from its slumber. It is coming for us, and I fear that we are not ready to face it. My people are brave and strong, but they are not prepared for the horrors that await them.

I must choose between two terrible options. On one hand, I could abandon our ancestral home and flee to the safety of the lowlands, leaving everything we have ever known behind. But even if we escape the darkness, we will be forever lost, cut off from our history and our traditions.

On the other hand, I could lead my people into battle, knowing full well that we may not survive. We will fight with all our might, but even that may not be enough to defeat the shadowy terror that looms over us.

I am torn between these two paths, neither of which offers any real hope for our survival. And yet, I must make a decision. The weight of my people's lives rests on my shoulders, and I cannot bear the thought of failing them.

But even as I weigh my options, I can feel the darkness growing stronger, closing in on us like a suffocating shroud. The time for decision is running out, and soon we will be forced to face our fate, whatever it may be. May the spirits have mercy on our souls.
