Trying to make myself a new icon, because its about time I got a new one. >___> This one is just a trial and error.I'm going to need something more simple for an icon.
I like how this turned out, but there's to many frames for an icon.
I thought I'd just submit the big version here.

heh not really a small issue more of a frame issue, and if I were to take away a few frames to make it able to use it just become really choppy and ugly.

animation isn't always as easy as people think, its pretty hard at first, it takes lots of practice before things become easy. the trick is to just keep at it. ^u^
hmm lets hope whatever I decide to use for my icon it wont be to stupid.

I once tried but I only got to a waving cat icon.... Even if I didn't redraw it all the time it was exhausting for my brain to think about the next scene, what should I animate, what effects would fit etc etc.... I learnt that I have no patience in art but very much in life.

I thought about just doing it that way for awhile, but I didn't like it as much, plus when the icon is so small you cant tell who the character is anymore.

hah, aww thanks, that's what I thought at first but DA tends to speed up icons a bit to much. so really with this one being so small then going so fast, its hard to tell whats going.

I like it, simple or not, animation is really hard. till can't figure it out, but I'm gonna try really hard once I get a digital tablet.

aww thank you! dont worry animation does seem pretty hard at first but once you understand basic principals it becomes a lot easier, also tablet helps a lot. just keep at it.

ahh thanks for the tip! but there are other things about it I dont like for an icon. like the fact that this moves kinda fast, then when its in little icon form its kinda hard to see whats happening. I dont know, I think I can do better then this. XD

sure thing.
incidentally, i don't know how savvy you are about this kinda thing, but you really don't want to export to animated gif directly from flash. the compression is baad, and you get little vector artifacts.
