In this experiment, we've entwined a cat (Felis catus) with a butterfly (Papilio machaon), giving rise to the unexpectedly airy and yarn-loving "Buttercat". Our vision was to combine the cat's agility and curiosity with the butterfly's colorful wings and aerial abilities.
