Instead of my standard rates I will be offering a special limited auction opportunity this summer.

A unique chance to commission an original piece of comic book art from me for only 99 pence (less than $2 USD).

The Commission
The commission offered will be of a single adult female character with simple background from the world of comics and popular culture.

The drawing will be done in pencil on 11” x 17” professional 3PLY Strathmore board with blueline* guides and signed with Adam’s monogram.

The winner will have their commission drawn during August and September 2015 once payment has been received by PayPal.

(Bluelines are used in the comics industry in tradition reproduction of artwork as they ensured artwork was of positioned in the right area and at the right size for reproduction. In traditional reproduction techniques the bluelines did not show up when photographed for printing resulting in clean finished artwork which was reproduced at a reduced size to tighten linework.

Shipping / Postage Packaging
The finished original artwork will be securely packaged and shipped worldwide by tracked, insured, signed for service. Please note that the displayed delivery date on ebay will not be accurate as this is a bespoke commission drawn especially for you once you you have briefed Adam. The artwork will be produced during August and September 2015.
Your Guarantee
Work will not begin until payment has been received. If Adam fails to complete the commission and send it to you for any reason he will issue a full refund.

We want you to be happy with your purchase
Adam reserves the right to make artistic choices about how to execute the work but welcomes the winners input into the general idea behind the piece. Please consider a few simple words about your idea. The less specific you are about the image you have in your mind the greater the chance Adam will produce something beautiful that you love.

Adam will not accept any requests for drawings which might be considered “dodgy”. This means nothing offensive to mainstream audiences. If you are not sure if it’s “dodgy” it probably is… Please see the images on this auction for examples of the sort of work to expect and for inspiration.

No commercial reproductions may be may be made of the original artwork. The original artwork will be owned by and sent to the winner. Sharing the image on social media for non-commercial use is permitted. Adam will provide a scan of the finished artwork for this purpose, included in the price of the commission, and send it to your email address.
