As if this hero is not known to every 80's kid out there. This series is actually about the locations not the character in front but they always tie together. Castle Grayskull is the mystic fortress located on the planet Eternia. Castle Grayskull was first built as the temporary seat of the legitimate government of Eternia, While the Royal Palace in the capital of Eternos was occupied by the Snake Men.

During the Great Wars and until the reign of King Grayskull, Castle Grayskull was also a center of religion, particularly the worship of Eternia's Goddess.
More recently, Castle Grayskull was the home of the titular Sorceress of Castle Grayskull with King Grayskull's wife Queen Veena being the first Sorceress. Veena was succeeded by Kuduk Ungol, who in turn was succeeded by Teela-Na, the current Sorceress of Grayskull.
it's one of the last remnants of the powerful ancient Eternians. It is also the heart of Magic in Eternia. And where Prince Adam (a decedent of King Grayskull) was given the Power sword that turns him into HE-MAN the most powerful man in the universe. Making him the defender of it secrets and hollowed halls as well as the champion of Justice and freedom. The sword gives him all the wisdom of all the previous wielders plus their strength and abilities multiplied by the centuries of the iconic sword as well as certain magical benefits.
