Description

Again This series is about the Location and how it ties to the character portrayed in it. Snake Mountain is a location on the planet of Eternia. It is located on the Dark Hemisphere of Eternia and is home to the villainous, Skeletor. It was once the home to the Snake Men. Being made from the petrified remains of a Snake God which is its defining feature is its snake-like shape, hence the name.

Snake Mountain was formed long ago, during the war against the Snake Men. The Council of Elders used their power to bind Serpos, mighty serpent god of the Snake Men, to a mountain on Eternia's Dark Hemisphere and turned it to stone.

To make this Petrified Serpos his base Skeletor (or possibly while he was still Keldor) built the base inside Snake Mountain with wisdom he learned from the Golden Disks of Knowledge, which he stole from Zanthor, a member of the Council of the Wise. The Mountain itself that is surrounded by Serpos, has a horrible secret as well; holding many horrid souls in faces that are semi petrified to its sides like golem monstrosities. One of these entities was killed with the Sword of the Ancients and to verify the soul was never brought back The sword was thrust into a boulder of pure quartz, deep beneath Snake Mountain, and forgotten. According to the Sorceress, it is the most powerful weapon on Eternia, next to He-Man's Sword of Power.
Now this explains Skeletor connection and to some extent any of his minions connection but here we have a Karikoni (The Karikoni are a hybrid race between a man and a crab or lobster, with large, sharp claws that can crush the life out of his opponents. The Karikoni are an Eternian race of crustacean warriors who live in Orkas Island. Now based on the theme Orkas Island should be the backdrop for Clawful but... ) brute who was strong but dumb a lost warrior. Clawful, his right claw is extra large and thus achieves an extra-deadly grip. Lost to his own ignorance, he is incredibly strong and easily swayed to Keldor's Evil Warriors, He was the most dimwitted, to the point that he could not even understand the language of his own people (communication via a snapping of the claw). Clawful hailed from the Karikoni, but he was dimwitted his cousin Pinsor is considerably more intelligent than he was. Reinforcing his worth from Keldor's acceptance. So he left Orkas Island permanently to be an Evil Warrior.
Clawful participated in Keldor's attack on the Hall of Wisdom and was trapped with him and the other evil warriors behind the Mystic Wall for years before they finally broke free. He served Skeletor loyally, but his bumbling stupidity frequently incurred the overlord of evil's wrath. To keep out of trouble he made a grotto on the monstrous side of Snake Mt. and secretly studying and becoming a leader in secret. Until he became one of Skeletor's most competent and trusted henchmen, with the lord of destruction once naming him his "right hand man". Despite this, Clawful once cited his desire to overthrow Skeletor and become leader of evil warriors himself, a bold claim which he dared to make in Skeletor's very presence. Clawful was first seen when he stole an artifact called the Horn of Evil from Orko's home world of Trolla. The grotto of Snake mountain turned a dimwitted fool into a Evil leader in his own right. Snake Mountain found a thick skinned creature to turn into a lord of evil. This is the reason Snake mt. is the background on the would be tyrant leader one that the Mountain controlled.
