Haven't drawn my sad boy in a bit, so here he is!

Backstory:
Rylian was a fisherman who helped a mermaid tangled in a net, only to be cursed by her and her mother, fated to die at sea and become a triton as her mate. He wasn't okay with that though, so he bailed and struck out on his own.

In the past, he was a friendly, generous, and optimistic man. He's longs to be human again, to form connections like he used to have, and not to be alone anymore. He has a hard time trusting though for obvious reasons. He still is very ashamed of his new form and is trying hard to learn to love, or at least accept, himself again.
