I was originally going to wait a few more days before posting this page, but it's actually the end of the first act (with the other 4 pages I posted). So I figured I might as well have it end in the right place before I put up a bunch of other stuff.

I've always felt that facial expression, posture, and posing your characters properly is important. Siu, the main character in this page has a very playful and mischievous personality. So, you need to always show that personality coming through, even if the character's doing something mundane.

That's how I think you can build an emotional attachment to a character by really putting personality into drawing them!
