Description

The year is 2127; and over the past hundred years, man has sought and found a “2nd Earth” to hopefully call home. Due to humanity’s explorations with cutting-edge space-travel technology, an advanced humanoid alien race named the “Yor” has become aware of humans and our Earth. And within the last 20 years, these extra-terrestrials have also came to be Earth’s allies and would help in the aid in traveling to this new Earth.  Human and Yor alike have joined and completed a Jump Gate for such travels.

Unfortunately, and unbeknownst to Earth, a different race of rogue aliens called “Crags” has caught wind of this Gate’s construction and sought to steal it for themselves. This nasty race of alien was the scourge of space for eons. They traveled in between planets as space pirates, laying waste and pillaging neighboring planets for resources and valuables to sustain their home world ruler.

Back on Earth, a team was picked and trained to become the most elite astronauts. Two leaders were selected for the mission. These two that were chosen grew up together, became closer friends during training camp, and was perfect for the mission. Scores for these two were the highest ever, percentages of successful training modules rocketed, and no one else could match this team up. Mathew McCleary and Yorin Fiygn, whom of which, were as brothers.

Human Leader-Mathew McCleary: A red-haired, Irish man in his mid-twenties and a strong lineage of pilots. Once one becomes airborne, a true McCleary adorns the “Winged M. C.” crest on any part of their body.  He has quite the extensive I.Q., stood strong in combat, and is quick-witted with a sharp sarcastic persona if provoked, especially during battle.

Yor Leader-Yorin Fiygn:  A royal Yor whose intellect was superior, excellent strategist, situational breakdown and resolution, swift on his feet, and a certain blood line that holds many secrets.

The Crew-Joining these two were a female doctor, two recon men, a scientologist, and three Yor mechanical engineers. This group has worked well together for five years and produced amazing results.

Once the Jump Gate fired up and functioning smoothly, a visual of the new Earth became vivid and clear to all spectators who stood before it. This would also be the chance for the Crag to sit and wait for any unsuspecting ship to pass through. The Crag would not charge into battle unless they knew they could win. The cowards!!

The launch was a go, and the space vessel, named “She-ila,” was ready to propel into the unknown to forge history. All was clear, and the new ship made way through the gates’ ripples. Radio contact was strong, and all controls worked just fine. They then started to make way for the new Earth.

Just after exiting, the Crag ship ambushed the humans’ ship. Mr. McCleary noticed off the starboard side a strange ship with broad sails, a sleek exterior with space-age cannons, and over-the-top décor within a forcefield. A message was sent from this space pirate ship:  “Surrender ye gate, fuel, and equipment aboard or be blasted into oblivion!! Arrrrgh!! Thus sayeth the Crag captain of this vessel.”

Yorin quickly recognized the ship and told Mathew who they were. It would be better to fight them than to surrender. Mathew agreed and charged towards them, blasting with their own weapons. Once engaged in battle, the Crag boarded the human ship through teleportation and took captive two engineers and killed two others during the fight.

Seeing the distress single, both Yorin and Mathew made way to tend to the others while fighting Crag lackies along the way. Once they reached the rear of the ship, the Crag captain was holding hostage the two engineers and ordered a surrender for their lives.

The two leaders fought side by side, extensively with the Crag and their captain. Yorin then seen the enemy captain aim his gun to fire at Mathew. Yorin lept into the way but the blast was too much. It was like laser buckshot…It went through Yorin and injured Mathew’s right side badly.

The Yor knew he could not live. As they laid there wounded, Yorin told Mathew, “My brother, take my blood and be one with my spirit!” Yorin handed his multi-materializer sword to Mathew. “Take this…it has been handed down from generation to generation…Only my bloodline can use this weapon; it will change upon your command… Thank you my brother, I will be with you till end…bonded by blood, mind, and spirit…Use my power to defeat this enemy.” Yorin’s blood then seeped into Mathew’s wounds as Yorin’s body slowly disappeared and melded into the Earthling’s body.

The human’s tears fell as his brother died before him. Just then, Mathew’s family crest on his right shoulder, now stained with blood, began to glow bright as Mathew’s arm started to resemble Yorin’s alien physique. Moreover, Mathew’s damaged eye began altering into a Yor’s eye as well.

As Mathew started to regain composer, his mind raced with all the knowledge, memories, and traits that Yorin possessed. It was a mad rush of pain from healing, but he has never felt better as their bloods fused.

The Crag captain then pointed his gun once more towards Mathew, mocking at the Yor’s death while laughing. Mathew then pointed Yorin’s weapon at the captain as it changed into a larger, alien blade-gun that clamped around his hand and wrist. A whirring sound filled the air as the newly mastered weapon fired. The captain fired at the same time.

The Crag captain was now frozen blue with a shattered, crackled look and one big, gaping hole on the right side. The captain then fell to pieces as his pirate cap fell atop the pile of fragments. Defeated, the entire Crag crew halted their assault and had to acknowledge their new captain.

One lacky picked the captain’s cap up, along with a pirate coat, and bowed his head as he bestowed the garments to the human. “Defeating our captain, now makes you our new captain.”

Looking at the occurrence, Mathew grabbed the cap, paused, and placed it on his head. He then declared. “Fight me and perish—or—join me to take back what you Crag have stolen…I hereby challenge your ruler and his ways.”

McCleary then fights off any of the opposing Crag crew that did not accept him as the new captain.

Now armed with a new weapon, an extra ship, Captain McCleary finished his mission for Earth and set out with a new agenda. To take down this Crag empire one ship at a time and plunder back any stolen goods to be returned to their home worlds. “All hail, Captain McCleary!!”

Who knows what other battles, voyages, and adventures await this man.
