So, it's obvious that I'm working on a game on the side, but I also have a team that's developing. We have the Star Wars: Battlefront-style game in production, but myself and a couple team members threw together a pretty fun horror game. If you saw the Kraken piece last week (nearly hit 20K views! Thanks, everyone!), I talked about Verdara quite a bit in the description.

Verdara is the planet where my current novella that I'm working on takes place. An outpost has gone silent. The game's story is pretty loose at the moment, so I've got some guys working on fleshing it out and making it even better. But it's unknown if the game takes place before, during, or after the events of the novella (which could become a full novel. Depends on me). But the town's layout is done. Adding furniture and lighting this week. Next week will be strictly laying out items and puzzles.

The overall concept is that you are the only survivor left in IGAV-I. You awake in an alley on the south side of the outpost, and all you remember was something attacked. You had been knocked unconscious by debris. You'll need to gather supplies and repair the only crawler left in town, but avoid the various threats of Verdara, as a breach in the wall has appeared.

I'll be jumping back to working on the Devil's Doorway this afternoon. There's a lot of work that needs to be done, specifically blueprinting. Since that game is mainly action with a hint of horror, I wanted to pause and get into a game that's sole focus is horror.
