Description
Hello againIt is my pleasure to show you my freshest painting about post-war city environment with robots wandering around. It was done as a test assignment, that didn't really work out in the end. Whenever I took them they never led to the real paid job, so if I can give you an advice - don't do free art tests! If they really feel you're the right person (basing on portfolio) they will pay something for your time. Not a new thing I know, but I liked the theme very much anyway
There is also a little contest running that the person who send me a screenshot closest to 50k pageviews will get a free commission of their choice. More info in my journal and it will probably happen in a week, so prepare!
Cheers to everybody who keep me running!

for the silly free art tests, unless its something you can at a later point use (either in a portfolio or print) I would strongly suggest against them. You are absolutely right, if you are not the right fit for a job based on portfolio and resume, then a "art test" will prove nothing. When applying for a job you should gear your portfolio selections towards the job (if and when possible) anyway.
Regardless, great work!

Hehe, I like the touch of the ferris wheel. Adds to the forlornness (which is a real word, apparently). Great job.

this is awesome They didn't peay you for this? Lame.... You did a great job. Love how the city appears, but mostly the colours and lights
That ferry wheel reminds me of the one near Chernobil (I cannot write the name of the village for my life ^^u)

They didn't pay because they never intended to I guess. Such destroyed sceneries are always spooky and very inspirational at the same time. If I ever have courage I wish to visit Kowloon - [link] I am glad you liked the painting

It happens in the industry. No need to be sorry, the simple rule that such contest in the job application are usually just a simple fraud. But sometimes not If you like the theme and the piece may be put in a portfolio it is worth a try from to time. I hope I will keep you art-satisfied

Me neither! That's the funny part, when you just mindlessly accept something, like for example: old socks on the floor. They are just there, let it be.

Pozdrawiam no i oczywiście fav.
Kacper.
