Doom has beaten a god before so I think he's got a fair shot. Deadpool vs Dante would be hilarious but edge to deadpool. He'd drive Dante nuts with his collection of pornographic knock knock jokes.

Thanks for all the comments. I'm not sure Wesker counts as a mastermind since he always works for a large corporation albeit we don't know who runs the show. Does that count as a lackey?

At first, I don't play the game but I remember reading about Wesker. He soon took over the company and used it to his own ends later in the series. Unfortunately Dr. Doom one-ups him as he took over an entire country and has taken on the Avengers and the Fantastic Four with only his genius and the technology at his disposal, most of which he developed.
