Helloooo and welcome to a new monthly video!

This panel was originally recorded for Anthro Northwest VR 2020 which I took part in this year, but I thought for the occasion to also have it as a first attempt to a new type of video reward for Patreon!

In this video, I'd like to introduce you to the basics of painting light and shadow i digital art (but it works with traditional, too!)

I hope that you like this type of format and find the information I provide interesting and helpful! (as always, please excuse my poor English and bad accent, I'm not a native speaker)

This is a first attempt at a real time, more tutorial-like video format, and for this first time, it is available to everyone for free! Let me know if you prefer this over my speedpaint voiceovers, and which arguments you'd like me to talk about in the future, and I may make this type of video for Patreon supporters instead of the current video speedpaint walkthroughs!

For now, I'm thinking a part 2 of this topic could be up next, since I haven't covered how highlights and bounce light and occlusion shadow affect the figure, and I haven't finalized the painting of Africa yet. So that would be a neat conclusion!
