One thing I want to do in my lifetime is see a white tiger cub in person and just touch it... pet it or whatever.. just to be able to say I touched one of the most beautiful creatures on Earth!

At our local zoo they had a tiger cub born a couple years ago.. They had it in the learning center and you could go in and pet it and stuff.. But, the day I went to the zoo the cub had been taken to an elementary school to show the kids... SO, I missed my chance to see it up close!

She was the first cub ever born at our zoo so they were really excited about it and wanted to share the excitement with everyone! Unfortunately, due to my bad timing, I didn't get to share in that excitement myself...

I can only hope! They just expanded the zoo and added new stuff... I can't wait until next summer so I can go see the new additions!

They added an African exhibit with a bunch of new animals AND an Australian Walkabout where you can actually walk in with the animals!
I am looking forward to seeing the new giraffe exhibit, because you stand up on a raised platform eye-to-eye with the giraffes and they can lean right in and touch you if they want to!

Here in Austria we have a zoo where you can feed giraffes, there is a platform too. I'll try it next year
